‘Dragon Quest Tact’ from Square Enix Gets Its First Trailer with Closed Beta Sign Ups Now Live in Japan

Square Enix recently revealed Dragon Quest Tact for iOS and Android. Dragon Quest Tact is a tactical RPG based on the Dragon Quest series for mobile platforms. It features turn based combat with charming enemies from the series on a grid based map. Today, the company revealed the first trailer for the upcoming mobile game and began taking registrations for an upcoming closed beta. It is worth noting that this beta (and also the game) are both only announced for Japan right now. Watch the first teaser trailer for Dragon Quest Tact below:

For the closed beta, 10,000 users on both iOS and Android will be accepted for the test that will begin on February 27th and go on until March 5th. You can sign up here until February 24th at 9:59 AM (or February 25th at 9:59 AM JST) in Japan. Check out the official Japanese website for it here. Dragon Quest Tact is set to release this year in Japan on iOS and Android. An English release hasn’t been announced at this time and since this is a Dragon Quest game, you can never be sure about a localisation.
